Choose the control that matches the decision

A deposit limit controls funding; a session reminder records time; a time-out pauses access for a defined period; self-exclusion is a broader restriction. Read the current account descriptions instead of assuming the labels produce the same outcome.

Write down the amount or duration, measurement period, effective time and channels affected before confirming. If the control is available only through support, request a case number and written acknowledgement.

Verify that the restriction took effect

For a time-out or exclusion, do not test the restriction by trying to evade it through another account. If access remains contrary to the confirmation, contact support with the acknowledgement and timestamp.

Keep recovery and reopening separate

Save any stated end date, review process and support channel before the account becomes inaccessible. Reopening rules may differ from password recovery and should not be handled by creating a duplicate profile.
